Coming soon to a drive-in theater near you: Garth Brooks.
With regular concerts currently impossible due to the coronavirus pandemic, Brooks, the best-selling solo artist in Billboard history, will perform a concert that will be broadcast to more than 300 drive-in movie theaters across North America, including three in Massachusetts.
The Mendon Twin Drive-In, Northfield Drive-In, and the soon-to-open pop-up drive-in at Marshfield Fair will all show “Garth Brooks: A Drive-In Concert Experience” on Saturday, June 27 at 8:30 p.m.
One of Brooks’ final shows before the pandemic hit was a memorable February 5 set at Six String Grill & Stage in Foxborough, a rare small-venue engagement for the country music megastar.
Tickets will cost $100 per carload (six people maximum) and go on sale on Friday, June 19 at noon through Ticketmaster.
